FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to a method for producing a culture containing megakaryocytes or megakaryocytic progenitor cells having an increased ability to produce platelets. Also disclosed is a method for producing platelets, as well as a method for expanding a culture by megakaryocytes or megakaryocytic progenitor cells having an increased ability to produce platelets. The invention also relates to the use of a drug exhibiting cytotoxicity for the production of a culture containing megakaryocytes or megakaryocytic progenitor cells having increased platelet productivity per cell.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively obtain megakaryocytes or megakaryocytic progenitor cells with an increased ability to produce platelets.
