FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce permanent joints by high-temperature electric arc soldering method of metal tips and studs to different metal items. Device comprises electric arc soldering gun and magnetic contact for its placement on soldered part. Storage battery current source and control unit are installed in separate housing. Housing is made plastic dampproof and equipped with operation mode indicator. Control unit is made with possibility of arc current adjustment, arc voltage and current measurement and current and voltage in time product integral calculating. In gun housing electromagnet and spring-loaded rods are arranged, made in form of solid parts and arranged in parallel guides. One of rods end is connected with electromagnet armature, and end of other is with collet for arrangement of electrodes with solder. Connected with electromagnet armature rod is made straight lined and equipped with return spring.

EFFECT: invention enabled to stabilize soldering quality at any position of soldered joint, simplify and optimize equipment design.
