FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in complexes of determining motion parameters of controlled objects by multi-scale method, as well as in systems using signals of satellite radio navigation systems for resolving ambiguity measurements alternative methods of structural theory end fields. Method of determining range to object with emitting source of signals with different frequencies involves simultaneous reception of not less than two signals with different frequencies and subsequent measurement of phase of received signals relative phase of signals from reference generator, wherein measured phase value of each signal is converted to digital value of time interval between the signal from the reference generator and the received signal, then distance is calculated using corresponding adaptive formula.
EFFECT: unfolding ambiguity range measurements in phase-measuring radio systems.
