SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology. “Zhelplastan” is used for intraoperative lymphorrhea prevention in patients with cervical cancer with pelvic lymphadenectomy. Wherein drainage tubes are installed in retroperitoneum, ends of which are discharged into lower angle of postoperative wound through round ligament of womb or through vagina stump. Additionally, before installation of drainage tubes bed of removed lymph nodes is insufflated with sterile powder “Zhelplastan”, which is distributed with dry gauze swab along whole surface of wound pocket.

EFFECT: method increases efficiency of lymphorrhea prevention and improving quality of life of patients due to reduction of duration and volume of lymphorrhea, reduced percentage of developing lymphatic cysts, reducing length of drainage, which promotes timely performance of further stages of combination treatment of cervical cancer patients.
