FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to controlling systems, and can be used for process plant components integrity monitoring. Disclosed is method, according to which in process plant first sequence of valve body reflection coefficient measurements is recieved, storing said first sequence of reflection coefficient measurements, receiving a second sequence of valve body reflection coefficient measurements, storing said second sequence of reflection coefficient measurements, comparing first and second reflection coefficient measurement sequences and generating instruction on loss of compression force, if first sequence of measurements is different from second sequence of measurements.
EFFECT: device comprises malfunction detection and determination system, sensor placed in connecting device, excitation unit, connected to sensor, and measuring unit connected to sensor.
