FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for bimetal article manufacturing, made from cast intermetallic alloy based on Ni3Al and age-hardened nickel alloy. Method involves stage of physical contact forming between bimetal workpieces due to nickel alloy workpiece deformation with production of semi-finished product and workpieces contact surfaces activation and setting stage due to part of nickel alloy semi-finished product deformation. nickel alloy workpiece deformation at physical contact stage is performed at rate of έ1 at temperature of T1, which are selected in accordance with said alloy grains size d in superplasticity intervals. Said part of semi-finished product deformation at activation and setting stage is performed at deformation rate of έ2≥έ1 at temperature of T2, which are selected from condition TSP>T2>T*, where TSP is least nickel alloy superplasticity temperature with grains size d, T* is temperature, at which flow stresses of nickel alloy with grain size d and intermetallic alloy are equal. Performing thermal treatment of produced bimetal article semi-finished product.
EFFECT: method provides increasing degree of workpieces contact surfaces activation and setting during pressure connection process.
