FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to desulphuration method of exhaust gases purification device, arranged in internal combustion engine exhaust line, in particular diesel internal combustion engine, wherein exhaust gases purification device contains, at least, one oxidation catalyst, capable of sulphur poisoning and therefore subject to timely desulfurization, to which during desulfurization phase with exhaust gases flow certain amount of carbon monoxide is supplied. According to invention, oxidation catalyst, capable of sulphur poisoning and therefore subject to timely desulfurization, is formed by NO-oxidation catalyst (5), having CO-oxidation activity, to which during desulfurization phase by means of internal combustion engine homogeneous compression ignition or by means of internal combustion engine partially homogeneous operating mode certain amount of carbon monoxide is supplied so, that temperature on desulfurized catalyst (5) is increased to certain NO-oxidation catalyst (5) desulfurization temperature, making possible NO-oxidation catalyst (5) desulfurization. Also disclosed is preferred exhaust gases purification device, arranged in internal combustion engine exhaust line, in particular, diesel internal combustion engine.
