FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improved method of gas-phase olefin polymerization, having relatively high polymer layer apparent density. Described is propylene polymerization method in direct flow gas-core reactor in presence of catalyst composition and mixed external electron-donating system. First external electrons donor is carboxylate compound. Gas-core reactor contains polymer layer with fluidization layer volumetric density of 128 kg/m3. Reduced gas flow rate in gas-core reactor is in 10 times less than minimum fluidization rate. Volume fraction of solid substance in gas-solid substance system exceeds value of 0.17.

EFFECT: preventing local overheating in reactor, which can be related to polymer particles agglomeration or formation of lumps, due to application of new external electron-donating system.
