FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: to prevent accidents during reverse motion object behind vehicle is detecting by means of sensor device, which generates object identifying signal if detecting object meeting specified condition. Sensor device comprises IR sensor device and reflected pulses sensor device, installed in vehicle rear part. Detecting IR heat from mammal with help of said IR sensor and object recognition signal is generated upon detection of object which satisfies condition that it emits IR heat, which corresponds to mammal. Sending electromagnetic radiation pulses from vehicle rear part and detecting reflected pulses, which are returned to sensor device. Generation of object recognition signal includes detecting, when object is in certain distance from vehicle rear part. Generating response signal to prevent accident at receiving of object recognition signal from sensor device. Response to accident preventing signal includes actuation of vehicle brakes, to either stop it when it moves back, or to prevent reverse motion, if it is in stationary state. Vehicle brake actuation includes transfer of electric current through solenoid for displacement of cable, which is functionally connected with foot brake pedal, thus moving brake pedal downward to actuate brake. Invention also discloses accident prevention system, and vehicle.

EFFECT: reduced number of accidents.
