SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for preventing collision with a person for vehicles. System includes: a detection unit, an electronic unit for initialising requests and initiating braking, an actuator, a set of thermal imagers and a monitor. Detection unit consists of a computer with software for processing a video stream from thermal imagers. Set of thermal imagers is mounted on the outer side of the vehicle. Monitor displays images from thermal imagers. Electronic unit for initialising requests and initiating braking consists of: voltage and current stabilizers, a controller, a relay with a binding, I/O buses for connecting wires, a USB mini or Type C port. and emergency vehicle systems. Electronic unit for initialising requests and initiating braking is designed with the ability to recognize signals from standard and non-standard vehicle systems. Actuating mechanism consists of: an electric motor, a reduction gear, a cable, a roller performing the function of guiding and holding the cable in a certain position, a cable tensioning mechanism.
