FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: reducing thrust bearing comprises a close-fitting ring (1) and free ring (2) with races, rolling bodies located between them and made as two-step cone rollers installed in cage sockets, their larger diameter steps (3) contact with race of the close-fitting ring (1), and smaller diameter steps (4) contact with race of its free ring (2). Diameters of bases of the roller steps are proportional to distance between bases and central axis of the bearing and roller gearing ration. Expressions for diameters of bases of the roller steps calculated using known D_r1, k, |OB|, H, h: D_r2=D_r1*(|OB|-H)/|OB|; d_r1=D_r1/k; d_r2=d_r1*(|OB|-H)/|OB|; d_r3=d_r1*(|OB|-H-h)/|OB|; d_r4=d_r1*(|OB|+h)/|OB|, where D_r1, D_r2 are diameters of bases of larger step of cone roller of reducing radial thrust bearing, d_r1, d_r2, d_r3, d_r4 are diameters of bases of collars of smaller step of the roller, k is gearing ratio of the roller (bearings), H is width of larger step of the roller, h is width of smaller step of the roller, |OB| is distance from axes of bearing to center of base of larger diameter of larger step of the roller.

EFFECT: increased limit speed of rotation of reducing thrust bearing by several times in comparison with standard thrust bearing without increasing of speed of rotation of rollers, reduced consumption of fuel or power in the bearing drive, multiple increasing of service life of the bearing rotating with speed of rotation of the comparable standard bearing, reduced noise level.
