SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and instrument engineering and can be used in any industry. Reduction thrust bearing comprises tight ring (1) and free ring (2) with raceways, rolling elements arranged between them and made in the form of two-step tapered rollers installed in the separator holes, steps of larger diameter (3) which run the raceway of tight ring (1), and steps of smaller diameter (4) run the raceway of free ring (2). Diameters of the bases of the roller steps are calculated from the formulas: Dr2=Dr1*(|OB|–H)/|OB|; dr1=Dr1/k; dr2=dr1*(|OB|–H)/|OB|; dr3=dr1*(|OB|–H–h)/|OB|; dr4=dr1*(|OB|+h)/|OB|; where Dr1, Dr2 are the diameters of the bases of the greater step of the tapered roller of the reduction angular-contract thrust bearing, dr1, dr2, dr3, dr4 are the diameters of the projection bases of the smaller step of the roller, k is a reduction coefficient of the roller, H is the width of the base of the larger step of the roller, h is the width of the projections of the smaller step of the roller, |OB| is the distance from the bearing axis to the center of the base of the larger diameter of the larger stage of the roller. Base of the larger stage of larger diameter roller (3) has a spherical shape with a radius of the sphere from the point of the bearing center to the point of the center of the base. On tight and free rings (1, 2), grooves are made for the larger and smaller steps of the rollers, preventing the rollers from moving along their own axis of rotation.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the creation of a reduction thrust bearing of a more compact shape, in the significant increase of the limiting speed of rotation of the reduction thrust bearing in comparison with the standard thrust bearing without shifting the rollers along its own axis of rotation, without increasing the speed of rotation of the rollers, in the reduction of the cost of fuel or electric power in the bearing drive(s), in the increase of the life of the bearing that rotates at the frequency of the standard bearing being compared, in reduction of the noise level.
