FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles, in particular to hybrid engine vehicles. During selected disconnection state starter electric motor is used for engine spinning, which is not provided with fuel, and negative pressure creating at inlet for leak detection. Fuel vapors sucked during spinning, accumulate in auxiliary tank, which is blown together with main tank under blowing conditions.

EFFECT: disclosed are engine control methods and systems to generate negative pressure for subsequent leakage detection procedure.
