FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing multilayer monocoque and can be used in transportation and aircraft engineering. The layer-by-layer electronic drawing of the monocoque is made. The monocoque is deposit-welded by a laser beam on a substrate, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the monocoque, successively layer by layer according to the electronic drawing. Deposit welding using a laser beam is performed using a wire having a square cross-section, a given composition and cross dimension. Deposit welding of the next layer includes partial fusion of interfaced surfaces in the area of the next contact of automatically fed wire and substrate or previously deposit-welded layer so as to enable metallurgical bonding thereof. The laser beam can be continuous or pulsed.
EFFECT: invention provides accuracy of laser deposit welding of monocoque due to partial fusion of the deposit-welded sire on the interfaced surface and reduces work on further finishing processing of the monocoque surfaces.
