SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology of getting the cellulose with improved properties and enhanced reactivity, and may be used during the process of chemical processing, including finished batches, for nitrocellulose and other ingredients. A method of increasing the reactivity of cellulose by means of activating the cellulose. The process comprises the steps of exposure to cellulose: impregnation and hydrolysis of cellulose in a medium hydrolysis solution, cellulose filtration from the hydrolysis solution, its washing, wringing and drying, and impregnation stages and cellulose hydrolysis in a medium hydrolysis solution filtration of the hydrolysis solution, rinsing, and spin drying is carried out with simultaneous thermovakuum-impulsive cycles, each of which involves heating the cellulose to a temperature no higher than 115°C, a high-speed impact impulse in vacuum pressure within no more than 100 mm Hg. Art. in less than 10 seconds, followed by exposure of cellulose under vacuum and vacuum discharge.

EFFECT: invention allows to improve the quality of cellulose indicators, including its reactivity.
