FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for extraction using a vacuum and can be used for extracting biologically active components from plant, animal, fish material, seafood, used in the food and pharmaceutical industry. The proposed extraction method involves heating an extraction agent to temperature at which the material and the obtained product are denatured. Before vacuum-pulsed saturation, the material is extracted on heated rollers with modulus (extraction agent : material) not greater than 2. The extraction agent used is distilled water or aqueous alcohol solution with alcohol concentration of not less than 20%. The extract is subjected to vacuum-pulsed filtration. After filtration low-temperature evaporation is carried out in thermo-vacuum-pulsed mode. Essential oils of the extract are trapped and separated from water vapour in condensers and water droplets falling in pipes are trapped by a drop catcher. The device for extracting materials includes a screw doser and continuous heated rollers with a container for receiving pulp saturated with extraction agent, two vacuum filters, extract collector, drop catcher, two condensers, foam remover, receiver and two extractors.
EFFECT: more efficient extraction process while reducing extraction agent costs, higher quality and output of extracted components.
