FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely, to the reduction treatment of parts made of heat-resistant nickel-based alloys and can be used in the aviation and energy industries to extend the life of parts of gas turbine engines and installations. Method of reduction treatment of parts made of heat-resistant nickel alloys includes surface plastic deformation and thermal treatment by heating, exposure and subsequent cooling. Surface plastic deformation is carried out with a degree of hardening of surfaces of parts of at least 20 %. Heat treatment is performed in vacuum by heating of parts to temperature of 30–300 °C below the temperature of complete dissolution of γ'-phase at a rate of no more than 5 °C/min, exposure for 0.25–1.0 hours and cooling at a rate of not less than 15 °C/min.
EFFECT: strength and plastic characteristics of the parts being restored as well as their service life are increased.
