FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, i.e. to synthesis gas reactor; the produced synthesis gas may be used in natural gas processing industry to produce methanol, dimethyl ether, aldehydes and alcohols, hydrocarbons and synthetic motor fuel. Syngas reactor comprises a round or rectangular channel, lined with refractory ceramics, having at least two compartments housing at least two modules fitted across the centre; the modules contain round or rectangular internals lined with refractory ceramics, and ion-electron conductive inlet-outlet membrane, wherein the inlet is connected to the main air feed collector, and each outlet is connected to the main outlet collector of oxygen depleted air; the membrane can be solid or fabricated as a ring collector with fitted baffles and a tubular grill with joined intersections, or as two rectangular collectors and a criss-cross tubular grill, with joined intersections, wherein h<<l, where h - canal wall thickness, l - canal length; the membrane has an external reaction zone, located between its surface and a metallic mesh connected to the module exterior.

EFFECT: simple and reliable reactor design with elimination of temperature nonuniformity.
