FIELD: physics, instrument-making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument-making and can be used in measuring heat power in energy transformation and dissipation processes in suspensions of living mitochondria in investigations in mitochondrial thermodynamics, aimed at producing new pharmaceutical agents and advanced biotechnologies. The disclosed calorimeter for investigating mitochondria comprises a housing which combines a syringe, consisting of two connected parts, the first of which serves to align syringes with calorimetric chambers, and the second serves to mount auxiliary tubes and align auxiliary tubes and calorimetric chambers, excluding adjustment operations for aligning dosing needles and calorimetric chambers when mixing reagents in the calorimetric chambers.
EFFECT: invention enables measurements in conditions of mixing the analysed sample with prevention of precipitation of mitochondria.
