FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid vehicles. Control device for hybrid vehicle with internal combustion engine, electric motor, drive wheel and clutch coupling, wherein engine is separated from driving wheel for drive wheel driving by electric motor. Control device calculates required motive force based on driver action and starts up internal combustion engine, when required driving force is equal to or greater than start-up determination value. When vehicle is stopped, internal combustion engine is stopped and clutch pedal return value from position, in which clutch coupling is disconnected, or when engagement element displacement value, moving from position, in which clutch coupling is disconnected, into position, in which it is completely engaged, internal combustion engine start-up is prevented, even when required driving force is equal to start-up determination value.
EFFECT: preventing unnecessary engine start-up.
