FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: noise suppressor contains the cylindrical body, rigidly connected to the end inlet and outlet nozzles, and the partitions, at least two discs with holes, forming the chambers, are installed in the body perpendicular to the aerodynamic flow direction, at that the disc holes are alternately misaligned relatively to the body axis, in such a way, that the holes in two adjacent discs do not coincide. The body with the soft vibration damping material layer, applied on its surface from one or two sides is made of structural materials.
EFFECT: increase of the noise suppression efficiency due to the chamber suppressor setting by means of the noise absorbing element turn.
