FIELD: noise suppression technique.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to noise suppression technique. Silencer comprises a cylindrical housing rigidly connected with end inlet and outlet branch pipes, there are at least two discs with holes installed perpendicular to the direction of motion of the aerodynamic flow in the housing forming chambers, herewith the holes of the discs are alternately displaced relative to the axis of the housing in such a way, that the holes in two adjacent discs do not coincide, and the holes of the discs are alternately displaced relative to the axis of the housing in such a way, that the holes in two adjacent discs do not coincide. Housing is made of structural materials with a layer of soft vibration dampening material applied on its surface from one or two sides.
EFFECT: technical result is the increased efficiency of noise suppression.
