FIELD: genetics.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses method of transplantation of hemopoietic stem cells (HSC) without irradiation including: (a) introduction to mammal subject of one or two doses of purine base analogue from 2 to 10 mg/kg of body weight, which is selected from 6-thioguanine (6TG), 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP) or azathiopurine (AZA) as stage of preliminary conditioning; (b) transplantation to subject of HSC donors lacking hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase (HPRT) 48–72 hours after preliminary conditioning and (c) immediate administering of purine base analogue approximately from 1 to 5 mg/kg and extending administering approximately from 1 to 5 mg/kg of purine base analogue every 2–4 days for 2–8 weeks without envisaged period of recovery; where method is carried out in absence of preliminary conditioning by irradiation.

EFFECT: disclosed method is carried out in absence of preliminary conditioning by irradiation, therefore subject requiring it is spared from toxicity induced by myeloablative radiation.
