METHOD FOR COMBINED CONDITIONING AND CHEMOSELECTION PER ONE CYCLE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61K35/14 A61K35/28

Abstract RU 2728867 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to haemopoetic stem cell transplantation (HSC). Method of HSC transplantation without preliminary conditioning by means of irradiation includes: (a) administering to a mammal a single dose or two doses of 2 to 10 mg/kg of body weight of an analogue of a purine base selected from 6-thioguanine (6TG), 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP) or azathioprine (AZA) as stage of preliminary conditioning; (b) donor transplantation of hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyl transferase (HPRT) donors to a HSC donor for 48–72 hours after a pre-conditioning step; and (c) immediate administration to a subject of approximately 1 to 5 mg/kg of a purine base analogue and continuing introduction to the subject of approximately 1 to 5 mg/kg of a purine base analogue every 2–4 days for 2–8 weeks without a specified recovery period; where the subject is expected to have a disease or disorder affecting the lymphohemapoietic cells. Also disclosed is a method of treating symptoms of a disease or disorder affecting lymphohemapoietic cells in a subject.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides avoiding radiation when preparing for transplantation, therefore the subject is relieved of toxicity induced by myeloablative radiation.
