FIELD: cell biology; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of cell biology and medicine and discloses methods for the production of an isolated population of cells not inducing a reaction of “a graft vs host disease” (hereinafter – GvHD), having a phenotype of central memory T-lymphocytes (hereinafter – Tcm), as well as a population produced by such methods, and a method for the treatment of a subject who needs the transplantation of cells or tissues. To implement the specified methods for the production of a population, first, a population of T-cells is provided, containing at least 50% of memory T-cells. Then, the specified population is brought into contact with a viral, bacterial and/or tumor antigen in the presence of IL-21 in order to provide its enrichment with antigen-reactive cells. After that, the specified cells obtained above are cultivated in the presence of IL-21, IL-15 and/or IL-7 in order to provide proliferation of cells having Tcm phenotype.
EFFECT: present invention allows for the reproduction of functional antigen-reactive cells capable of providing effective and specific anti-diseases impact in order to eliminate host-reactive clones capable of causing GvHD.
