SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage battery terminal, arranged on cover, as well as to terminal on battery cover forming method. Battery terminal has mounting section and contact section. Between mounting section and contact section torque transfer ring is provided. Mounting section is intended for terminal retention in battery cover, in which it is preferably inserted by injection molding. Terminal is hollow body, which has outer wall and inner wall. On contact section outer wall has conical shape. On mounting section outer wall has, at least, one labyrinth ring, forming labyrinth. Inner wall comprises, at least, two sections. Upper section is, substantially, surrounded by contact section and has preferably conical shape. Lower part is, substantially, surrounded by mounting section. In side section view, lower part has, preferably, concave shape. Between upper section and lower section there is edge. Edge on inner wall is, substantially, surrounded by torque transfer ring on outer wall.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is improving storage battery terminal sealing output due to increased mechanical strength of terminal located on storage battery cover, made by injection molding.
