Method of transformation coefficients encoding during video encoding, in which: encoding transformation coefficient significance map flag in transformation coefficients fragment, wherein significance map flag indicates, whether or not specific transformation coefficient has absolute value, greater than zero; encoding one exceeding flag for first M1 of transformation coefficients in fragment, indicated by significance map flag as having absolute value, greater than zero, wherein one exceeding flag indicates, whether or not specific transformation coefficient has absolute value, greater than one, wherein M1 is less than maximum number of transformation coefficients in fragment; encoding two exceeding flag for transformation coefficients in fragment, indicated by one exceeding flag as having absolute value, greater than one, wherein two exceeding flag indicates, whether or not specific transformation coefficients have absolute value, greater than two; and encoding remaining level value for transformation coefficients in fragment.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing of CABAC throughput capacity.
