FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic equipment, in particular, to vacuum klystron type microwave generators with a double-gap first resonator. First resonator provides self-energising of generator in autogeneration mode on anti-phase type of oscillations and sufficiently effective bunching of electrons. Main feature of proposed device consists in that both gaps of first resonator have an extended interaction space (EIS) of electrons with microwave field. Invention is intended to generate high-power microwaves. Efficiency in the first resonator increases due to use of EIS and large amplitudes of microwave voltages in range of (1.1–1.3)U0.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
