FIELD: microwave engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has triode electron gun, transit-time channel, three cavities mounted in tandem along transit-time channel, input and output coupling elements, and collector; first-cavity gap is formed by cathode and grid of gun. Input coupling element is installed in second cavity, and feedback line is inserted between output and first cavities. Line length is chosen so that electron bunches shaped by gun enter the gap of second cavity at the moment of voltage variation from braking to accelerating value so as to prevent energy transfer from flux to field of second cavity. Power gain of proposed device is approximately 1000 times higher than that of triode-klystron. EFFECT: improved power gain of device. 1 dwg
