FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal protection materials, based on ethylene-propylene-diene elastomers, intended for use in aircraft and spacecraft engineering. The thermal protection material on the basis of ethylene-propylene-diene elastomer comprises sulphur, zinc oxide, stearine, carbon black, tetramethylthiuram disulphide, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, pine rosin, white carbon and phosphorus-boron-nitrogen-bearing oligomer; the material also contains cenospheres, pretreated with a phosphorus-boron-nitrogen-bearing oligomer at 80°C, wherein the components ratio is as follows, pts.wt.: ethylene-propylene-diene elastomer-40 100,0, sulphur 2.0, tetramethylthiuram disulphide 0.75, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole 1.5, zinc oxide 5.0, stearine 1.0, carbon black "П-324" 2.0, pine rosin 3.0, white carbon "БC-120" 30.0, cenospheres 5.0, phosphorus-boron-nitrogen-bearing oligomer 1.0-3.0.
EFFECT: thermal protection material with a reduced warming-up rate.
