FIELD: space.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space radar probing of the Earth, in particular, to a method for two-dimensional deployment phase in production of digital elevation models of the Earth's surface at interferometric pairs of radar images. Said result is achieved due to that, the method of deploying phase consists in reduction of gradient phase on the basis of minimizing the cost of flows in transport network, associated with interference pattern, only along short break lines phase, corresponding to tracks of flows of low cost; extraction sections on interference pattern, containing long lines of phase break, carried out in two stages: first, based on analysis of plot by detecting the most abrupt changes of value and direction of inclination of phase surface, then by parasite gradient, which occurs at recovery of phase surface using weight criterion of smaller squares; failure to follow gradient phase at the allocated areas at recovery of surface of developed phase; attracting low-detailed reference information on relief for recovery of medium level of phase in large areas insulated sections with ignored gradient.
EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy of digital elevation models, formed as a result of interferometric processing, due to prevent propagation of errors deployment phase at a considerable part of the interference pattern.
