SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Non-pathogenic strain of gram-negative bacteria is proposed, which is deposited in CNCM April 8, 2010 under number I-4290. Said strain is intended for use in treating or preventing skin inflammatory diseases. Bacterial extract is disclosed, which is obtained by culturing and lysis of above strain of bacteria. Bacterial extract has protein profile, which as shown by denaturation electrophoresis in polyacrylamide gel, includes 12 detectable strips, including three main strips corresponding to molecular weights in range between 30 kDa and 36 kDa, 41 kDa and 45 kDa, and 47 kDa and 51 kDa, respectively. Composition for treating skin inflammatory diseases is disclosed containing above strain and/or bacterial extract as active ingredient in effective amount and one or more dermatologically compatible fillers.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides induction of cytokine IL-10, IL-12 and TNFα, inhibition of cytokine IL-4 and IL-6, activation of Langerhans cells, normalization of Th1/Th2 balance, reduction of expression of IgE, induction of formation of antimicrobial peptides and proteins hBD-2, hBD-3, S1007A, LL-31, PI3, RNase7 and NOD2.
