SUBSTANCE: pack (1) of the catheter comprises a container (10) for accommodation of the catheter (2) and liquid swellable material, the catheter (2) with a hydrophilic coating and liquid swellable material (22) stored in the container (10). The said container (10) has a proximal end (11) with a proximal end (3) of the catheter (2), and a distal end (12) opposite to the said proximal end (11). At that, the container (10) forms the first cavity (14) for liquid swellable material storage and the second cavity (15) adjacent to the opening (13) in the container. The said cavities (14, 15) are designed to prevent fluid movement from the first cavity (14) into the second cavity (15), if the package (1) of the catheter is tilted horizontally, or upside down, the second cavity (15) has the form of an inner tube (18) extending coaxially with the container (10) inside the first cavity (14).

EFFECT: invention prevents leakage of liquid swellable material from the catheter package in case of horizontal storage or turning upside down.
