SUBSTANCE: system comprises a urinary catheter to collect urine from the body opening and the receiving bag attached to the catheter so that the urine flow can be set at the flow path from the catheter into the bag. The system also includes a catheter package with a container and a lid. The container forms an accommodation space for the inserted portion of the catheter, and the lid defines a cavity for the receiving bag. The lid is detachably secured on the container. Furthermore, the packaging forms an overlap, where the cavity partially covers the placement.
