FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: complex includes an X-ray radiation source, radiation detector, device for information reading from reusable flexible phosphor plates, storage and processing unit. The controlled product is placed between the source and receiver of radiation, i.e. reusable phosphor plates at a distance at least three diameters of insulation of product line from each other, perpendicular to the direction of radioscopy, and allows for simultaneous measurement of the wall thickness and determination of external and internal profile of two opposite walls of the product line in service.

EFFECT: capability to measure product line residual base metal wall thickness and stop valve element without taking production facility out of operation, which reduces operating costs for removal of protective aluminum coating, thermal insulation layer, and their subsequent restoration, and avoids termination of processes for diagnostic works in chemical and oil refining industries.
