FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to the pathological anatomy and oncology, and can be used for differential diagnosis of poorly differentiated neuroendocrine gastric cancer and poorly differentiated adenocarcinomas. Essence of invention: the tumor plate with the area of maximum infestation and borders with intact gastric mucosa is cut out, histological examination is performed, in case of trabecular, alveolar and solid structures prevalence detection in histological preparations, immunohistochemical studies performed with antibodies to chromogranin A, synaptophysin and neuron enolase of all histological blocks . If a positive reaction with antibodies to at least one marker (chromogranin A/synaptophysin/neuron specific enolase) is identified, the percentage of cells with positive reaction of each antibody is estimated in each block at a magnification of 200, the obtained percentages are summed and divided by the total number of blocks, if the received number exceeds 70%, then the tumor is regarded as poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma.
EFFECT: invention provides improved accuracy and objectification of the differential diagnosis of the stated conditions.
