SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnosis, and can be used to predict the development of placental insufficiency in the first trimester of pregnancy for women after in vitro fertilization procedures. The method comprises determination of the renin, endoglin and soluble receptor-1 content to a vasculitis-endothelial growth factor (sVEGF-R1) in the serum of woman's blood during early pregnancy with subsequent calculation of predictive PI index. If PI>0, the development of placental insufficiency is predicted in the second half of pregnancy, if PI<0, a low risk of disease state development is concluded, and with PI equal to zero repeated examination is carried out in two weeks.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the efficiency of placental insufficiency development prediction for women, whose pregnancy is a result of assisted reproductive technologies, up to 88% since the first trimester of gestation, which enables implementation of preventive measures aimed at prevention of formation of such pathological condition.
