SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics, and can be used to predict the risk of developing preeclampsia in pregnant women with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. A blood serum test is performed by an enzyme immunoassay at the early stages of pregnancy. Determined is the content of endoglin in the peripheral blood serum at 11-14 weeks of pregnancy. When its value is equal to or more than 274 ng/ml, a high risk of developing preeclampsia is predicted.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict preeclampsia in pregnant women with concomitant type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus at the early stages of pregnancy of 11-14 weeks with great accuracy, specificity and simplicity of implementation by determining the content of endoglin - a receptor for TGF-beta in the blood serum, since an increase in the content of the circulating soluble form of endoglin leads to increased vasoconstriction and increased blood pressure.
