FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: sample is installed and secured on the device table, the pendulum is provided with initial energy by load having definite weight and by pendulum rotation around the axis of oscillation to the initial position, sample is positioned by the table movement relatively to trajectory of the pendulum oscillations. On the pendulum the cutting tool is secured, and stop of blade of the cutting tool in the sample material is ensured by variation of the load weight and angle of rotation of the pendulum.
EFFECT: expansion of area of application of the device for pendulum scribing.
