FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: pipes production is carried out of stock pipe billets of 474×13×4700-5000 mm size obtained by mechanical processing: boring and turning of stock hot-rolled pipes of 490×32×9400-10000 mm size, rolled at PRM 8-16" with Pilger mills from hollow ESR ingot-billets of 650×ID.300×2100±50 mm.
EFFECT: reduced metal consumption, reduced roughness of outer and inner surfaces and increased length of pipe.
