SUBSTANCE: pipes production is carried out of stock pipe billets of 474×13×4,700-5,000 mm size obtained by mechanical processing: boring and turning of stock hot-rolled pipes of 490×32×9,400-10,000 mm size, rolled at PRM 8-16" with Pilger mills from hollow ESR ingot-billets of 650×ID.300×2,100±50 mm.
EFFECT: reduced metal consumption, reduced roughness of outer and inner pipe surfaces and increased length of pipe.
