FIELD: devices for fuel combustion.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for fuel preparation before combustion. Proposed device comprises housing 1 accommodating electrodes 4 connected to an alternating voltage source. Alternating-current electric field frequency, physical characteristics of fuel and geometric dimensions of the processing device are set in accordance with the formula: fef=βEexcV/U2εaπℓt, where: fef – frequency of electric field vibrations – 1/s, β=(w/k)NAvρ/M – depth of fuel modification – 1/m3, w – speed of chemical chain reaction – s-1, k – rate of radical death in chain-termination reaction – s-1, NAv – Avogadro number – mol-1, ρ – fuel density – kg/m3, V – processed fuel volume – m3, M – molar fuel mass – kg/kmol, U – voltage amplitude on electrodes of the processing device – V, εa =εε0 – absolute capacitivity of fuel, 1, ℓ – length of processing chamber electrodes – m, t – time of processing fuel – s.
EFFECT: proposed device provides higher quality of fuel, higher heating value and combustion efficiency.
