FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to a biocompatible microbattery in a flexible biocompatible shell. Electrochemical microbattery contains components of an electrochemical cell and consists of a flat anode and a cathode with collectors located within a predetermined distance to provide ionic conductivity between the anode and cathode, the flexible shell surrounds the anode, cathode and electrolyte, and the above-mentioned current leads pass through the specified flexible shell, also the microbattery has either a flat or arcuate shape. Microbattery may contain a second electrochemical cell connected in series with the specified first electrochemical cell. Increase in mechanical strength, degree of flexibility and biocompatibility is the technical result of the invention.
EFFECT: method for manufacturing microbatteries is proposed by selecting a design and a biocompatible material, followed by sealing the interior of the battery in accordance with the proposed method.
