FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: spinal cage includes the first and the second spinal fasteners attached to the vertebrae. The first and the second spinal fasteners are coupled with each other through a pivot connection. Cage contains a wedge member mounted for wedging between the first and the second spinal fasteners, and a drive. The actuator comprises a spring which is connected to the wedge member to move it in the direction in which the wedge member is between the first and the second spinal fastener or exits the spinal fasteners.
EFFECT: invention provides a forced locking of the deformed spine in a position more useful for health.
