FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: spinal device includes a variable length element with a ratchet and a power applicator that can regulate or promote the ratchet mechanism. The ratchet mechanism has an operating configuration allowing to change the variable-length element length in one direction and prevent changes in the variable-length element length in the opposite direction. The variable-length element comprises multiaxial articulated fastening elements for bone attachment with a possibility of rotation about multiple axes. Power applicator is able to regulate or promote the ratchet mechanism. The power applicator comprises a cam with a tooth which engages with the ratchet mechanism rack. The spinal device comprises a pair of the aforementioned spinal devices and connector assembly, which forms a composite connection between spinal devices capable of many degrees of spinal devices mobility.
