FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and is intended for prediction of risk of calcification of biological prosthesis of heart valves, implanted in mitral position. Genetic profile of patient is analysed by genes VDR and IL6R, building of prognostic model with application of point evaluation of risk factors, such as male sex, presence in patient's blood serum of polymorphisms of genes VDR rs2228570 and rs731236 and IL6R rs2229238, and to each criterion evaluation point is assigned. On the basis of summary value of indices probable risk of calcification of biological prosthesis is evaluated. If the sum of points is from 0 to 1.5 minimal risk of calcification is predicted, from 1.5 to 3.0 points - medium risk, from 3.0 to 6.0 - high risk.
EFFECT: invention ensures effective prediction of calcification of bioprosthesis of heart valves, placed in mitral position, due to determination of polymorphisms of genes-candidates and calculation of summary risk by evaluation scale.
