FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiac surgery, X-ray diagnostics and radiology, and can be used for diagnostics of sclero-degenerative processes of bioprostheses of heart valves. Radiopharmaceutical (RPh) is administered intravenously to a patient, positron emission tomography of heart and calculation of accumulation index of radiopharmaceutical preparation. RPh used is 68Ga-FAPI-04 in amount of 1.5–2 MBq per 1 kg of patient’s body weight, but not less than 100 MBq, and positron emission tomography of the heart is performed 60 minutes after its introduction. Assessment of 68Ga-FAPI-04 accumulation intensity in the projection of the implanted valve is performed by calculating the differential uptake ratio (DUR max/mean) by the formula. If DUR max/mean is more than 2, sclero-degenerative processes of heart valve bioprostheses are diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides assessing the activity of biological degradation of bioprostheses at early stages, detection of risk groups of patients with early formation of dysfunction of bioprostheses of heart and optimization of tactics of treatment of this group of patients due to assessment of intensity of 68Ga-FAPI-04 accumulation in projection of implanted valve.
