FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of alkaline accumulators with metal-felt oxide-nickel electrodes. Proposed method of producing metal-felt bases for oxide-nickel electrodes of alkaline current sources involves preparation of surface of porous polymer material by applying the primary layer of metal with subsequent galvanic nickel coating, provided that preparation of surface of porous polymer material is carried out by application of polyaniline layer during aniline polymerization, then primary metal layer is applied by galvanic copper plating.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is obtaining uniformly metallized porous base for metal-felt oxide-nickel electrode while maintaining uniformity of thickness and high electric conductivity of copper layer.
