SUBSTANCE: method includes providing a frozen confectionery product having the surface, providing a liquid coating material, the application of a liquid coating material on at least part of the surface of a frozen confectionery product from at least one applicator. Wherein at least one applicator and/or frozen confectionery product moves in the vertical direction, the frozen confectionery product is hold upside down. Then the coating material is allowed to flow down along the frozen confectionery product, and the coating on the frozen confectionery product is cured in the form of a pattern.
EFFECT: invention allows to simplify the method of applying a pattern from the coating on the frozen confectionery product and to improve the appearance and visual effect of the product.
