FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The proposed method for production of a frozen confectionary product involves the following stages: provision for a mould with a closed and an opened ends in the medium being cooled, filling the mould with a liquid mixture for formation of 17 - 23 mm thick chocolate coating lining the mould, removal of unconsolidated liquid mixture from the mould, pressurised filling of the coating lining the mould with a frozen confectionary product in a volume of 40 - 80 ml up to a height of 3-8 mm from the coating top, a stick insertion into the frozen product, the ready product removal from the mould and the said product packing. Additionally one proposes a product manufactured by the said method.
EFFECT: inventions group allows to improve the process of moulding coated frozen confectionary products.
